Our client is currently seeking a Training & Recruitment Operator to join their team on a full-time basis within a dynamic and fast-paced maritime environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling interviews with seafarers and/or crewing agents, reviewing and assessing onboard appraisal reports while accurately recording key observations, and managing a high-volume shared mailbox by monitoring incoming communications and delegating them appropriately.

The role will also involve planning and organising training courses for seafarers in line with operational requirements, carrying out general administrative duties, and supporting the department with any additional tasks assigned by management. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and spoken English skills, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and have well-developed organisational and administrative abilities. They should be capable of working independently, effectively managing priorities, and maintaining a structured approach in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks and responding to time-sensitive situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word, is essential.

Previous experience in the maritime or recruitment sector, or experience at sea, will be considered an asset.
